Now I have ventured into the world of Pinterest… I hope that means that I will learn how to spell it correctly sooner rather than later (I am the worst speller in the world!).

We shall see what that venture gains (new ideas for just about anything, new recipes, new connections?)

Beginning to wonder how on earth people have time to market their business if they have a full-time gig already (and their craft is ‘time consuming’)…

Time management I guess… don’t worry, I will sacrifice marketing for physical therapy (my shoulder, back, and knee are screaming their thank yous!)

Fear, and Joy…

Over the weekend, I received my first order via my Etsy.com shop.  It should be known that my first order there was to my first ever customer from back in the days prior to having an Etsy.com shop, or even my business license.  Further… that means that I had my first repeat customer.

 

Ecstatic?  Yes, yes I am…

 

And then today – I had my second order.  

 

Fear: that I will have lots of orders, and I won’t be timely.

Joy: Gratitude for customers.

 

Thank you thank you thank you …

A long time later….

…. I’m back at it and going to do the best I can.

I’m going to try…

to get into a little bit of trouble this year!

(I know you wouldn’t know if I didn’t tell you now, but I still wish to apologize for not getting pictures of the bracelets that I made to give my family for surprise prizes this year… If I can round up some family, I will try to get photos for you.  Nothing amazing mind you, just a teensy tiny itty bitty stretch from the norm).

Yes, it’s true — I have been keeping you in the dark all this time. I would like to find out if you are interested in participating in my ‘friend-marketing’ idea. I will send you one bracelet, and perhaps a ring (if you desire) and all I ask for in return is that when you decide to wear it, would you please be so kind as to take my business cards with you so that if someone should ask you about your jewelry, you can hand them a business card….

Time to make the jewelry (really…)

Hi hi!

What a beautiful Saturday!

As soon as I get back from taking the twins to football, I am so totally going to finish Jamie’s birthday present (and sad to mention that her birthday was in July…. )  — but hey…. I already know she likes it

I think I am going to spend some time on some other things as well (hopefully they don’t include going to Beadniks, or to Michaels – because aside from findings, I really should be in good shape and don’t need to spend ANY more money *before* making some….)

I am also going to be ‘partially green’ (well, I am pretty much every day) … but aside from music, I will be using the shining sun as my light source!  LOVE love the sun! (someday I really will spend some time on figuring out how to be carbon neutral…. wish me luck with teenagers in the house!)

In the peace of the night….

I totally had an awesome opportunity to create some more jewelry for my *marketable* collection tonight…. but no….

I curled up with KBCO, a bottle of my brother-in-law’s wine, and a bubble bath instead….

The results …. tangible (hopefully) is the direction I hope to go.

1.  Chris started this mess: I visited my aforementioned brother-in-law’s … um… winery? … let me just say, I could drink gallons of the stuff, and he’s [I-know-it-isn't-called-brewing,-but-I-guess-I-better-figure-out-what-it-*is*-called-if-I-want-to-have-*any hope*-in-helping-him-market-his-wine-word inserted here] some really good stuff!  — in other words, he’s [making] some really good stuff!

2. So I contacted Tiffany, to get some photos

3. And then at some point I started thinking about the cross-marketing with Darcy sitting over there making the wedding dress for her sister….. (I don’t know if she has a page yet)

4. And then there’s me…. kind of the out-cast of the ‘clan’ with nothing much on the ‘long-term-marketable-product’….

See… who doesn’t maybe want wine for…. the rehearsal, wedding, otherwise …. and photos of the occasion(s) to come, and… one might need the dress(es) (wedding, baptism, flower girls, and stuff) from a wonderful designer….  but…. how often does one need jewelry in all of that?   ….

…… well here’s for hoping we all make it grand!
